The Gap in the Curtain

A quick follow-up to yesterday’s post. The Gap in the Curtain is certainly not the best novel I’ve ever read, but it’s quick to scroll through. (What is the digital equivalent of a page-turner?)

A couple of quotations: “Success depends on seeing just a little more into the future than other people.” “Trying to see something solid in the mist is the whole fun of life.”

Of course, each story has a twist. The moral: however much we as traders and investors would like to have a single bit of news from tomorrow’s or next week’s or next year’s Wall Street Journal—well, perhaps it might not be as useful as we imagine.
